There are many ways to get involved in the Spirit of Mandela Week and help give a hand-up to the disadvantaged children and youth in South Africa.

Become a Volunteer

Volunteers are an essential part of the Spirit of Mandela Week! The Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund (Canada) promotes student leadership and volunteerism and if you would like to join the Spirit of Mandela Team, please let us know!

If you are a student, speak to Teacher and ask if your school is already registered for the event. Discuss with your Principal and Teacher how you can assist them with the planning and execution of the Spirit of Mandela activities. If your school is not registered to participate, approach your Principal and ASK them to get involved in the Spirit of Mandela event by registering here.

Do you live in the GTA area and would like to become involved with the Spirit of Mandela event?
