Spirit Of Mandela

The purpose of the Spirit of Mandela Event is four-fold:

1. Educate Canadian youth about the history of South Africa and the challenges facing disadvantaged children and youth in South Africa.
2. Reinforce the positive messages of Nelson Mandela's life and his global vision to change the way society treats its children and youth.
3. Inspire Canadian students to get involved within their schools and communities, to help those who are disadvantaged, and learn how to make a difference in their communities through volunteerism and fundraising.
4. Raise funds to help disadvantaged children and youth in South Africa through the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund (Canada).
